I knew they weren't doing that yet, but I removed as at least an extra step as I'm not particularly keen on them adding the groundwork for it doing more nefarious things. It was that very next post in the Graphene thread you linked where mention of it being closed source with closed models was unfortunate, which I think is a very polite way of them putting a ⚠️ sign on it, and further encouraging shifting to them if anything.

It's absolutely not helpful when people cry 'fire' over what isn't there. But from a company that has been doing more and more to fuck over users in some way, I don't think it's fear mongering to fear potentials even if they aren't there yet, especially given those recent actions.
