Opening my writing program, writing the title "Moralizing, puritanism and the internet panopticon " and then closing it when I realize writing a big long effort post about how mass shaming and doxxing "bad people" online is always terrible and harmful no matter how justified you convince yourself it is, would deplete too much brain power I am presently devoting to sorting RL shit out instead
