For years, I've seen this weird sort of referrer spamming in my http logs whereby the referrer is set to
`
https://<some spam domain><my domain>/<valid path>`
I.e., a spam domain prefix-glued (without a separator of any kind) onto an otherwise valid URL on my site (see screenshot below).
Anybody have an idea what's up with those? It's not useful spamdexing because the resulting domain domain is invalid. What's the objective?
