I don't get where the UK government 'discovered' the mandate to bomb Yemen. Surely this requires an act of Parliament? And once again they're attacking a group which doesn't represent the national government (as was the case with Afghan.). If that group, the Houthis, has been attacking commercial tankers-then according to international law there's no right to 'self defense' inside Yemen's territory-since it wasn't the sovereign state of Yemen that attacked the tankers.
