I'd done the Save to Homescreen thing for a while, but I was hoping the new app would make it so I didn't need to. But it's been one whole day, so I imagine things will get ironed out.
I just hope the guy making the app isn't spreading himself out too thin. I think he's also spearheading that Loops app, too. That's a lot of work.
