I have been an employee; and I have been (am) self-employed. Both have their good and bad points; but I enjoy the freedom to choose my own path.
The lack of support from the state for the self-employed seemed to me to indicate an assumption that we all become millionaires as soon as we start trading. Alas, this ain't necessarily so...
