A huge part of the reason the U.S. is so pro Israel is because evangelicals want to bring on the end of the world. It has nothing to do with being a friend to Jews. The fact that these evangelicals have escaped being a major part of the conversation drives me nuts. But yea there is absolutely zero contradiction in being absolutely anti semitic and pro Israel.
