When I was a young Airman working on mid shift, I had to go to the tool room for some bench stock. As I approached, I saw the Sergeant inside shining a flashlight out the windows. When I got inside, I saw he had a magnifying glass in one hand, a flashlight in the other. I asked him, what are you doing? He said with a straight face, I’m trying to burn the moths on the outside of the window. I didn’t say a word, got my bench stock & left. Some folks are meant to work in the tool room. Permanently
