That's why I’m grateful that I never got bigger than the understudy to the mayor in my elementary school's production of The Pied Piper.

I was so annoyed about being cast as an UNDERSTUDY that I didn't bother to learn any lines and, when the actual mayor broke their leg, I convinced them to carry on with performing (because I didn't know my lines and didn't want to perform, anyway).
