That's a nice dream... The bookstores thing could happen. Not sure about the libraries. The local public libraries around me basically got rid of most of their books. Now it's mainly DVDs and Games.
I'm not sure where you are in the world, but there is a bookstore in southern Indiana that is dreamy. One of my favorite authors (Wendell Berry) visits it often.
