I miss defunct locally-owned #Austin restaurants like Shady Grove, Threadgill's, The Frisco, and Hut's Hamburgers.

My thought as I made a grilled sandwich containing sliced zucchini, yellow squash, sliced turkey, and mozzarella cheese: "This is going to taste just like a Hippie Chick sandwich from the Shady Grove restaurant and I can do it again!"

My thought as I took my first bite: "This tastes nothing like a Hippie Chick sandwich, it was a complete waste of time, and I'm never doing this again."
