Would you be willing to entertain the idea that it also endangers the robustness and primary mission of Bitcoin by making nodes more expensive for a purpose that does not serve Bitcoin's mission at all?
For Bitcoin's mission (digital cash/store of value) to succeed on the long term, wouldn't it need to remain as lean and robust as possible?

Why not create another chain for Inscriptions? Would still be fun wouldn't it? Look at us having fun messaging each other on an infrastructure that does not bloat the Bitcoin blockchain.
