It truly is. We went from "rural communities are dying" to "nobody can afford rural living" real fast. It's sad because the community part is still dying. Most of the transplants are fleeing cities, so they're very anti-social. (So far anyway) I have grumpy neighbors and higher property tax now. Woo.
