Updated my script for the volume status that runs on my #eww bar on my #RiverWM desktop as I'm now on #FreeBSD . I had been using pactl but noticed when I set a volume to say 80% on reboot I got 78%. Then discovered the mixer command and this has allowed me to resolve my issues.
