Therapist worked with me to convince me to put myself first and prioritize what will bring me joy. So there will be at least good back to back days where I can disappear into my hobby. She's also working to convince me that conditions don't have to be “perfect" to get some painting in.
I get caught up in that I need my entire setup with multiple days in a row in order to make it "worth" painting. I guess I don't always need 2-3 days of non-stop painting sessions in order to find my joy.
