It is ok to sever relationships with friends and family who voted for Trump. Not only is it ok but it's an act of self-protection.

This isn't because of a difference in political beliefs but instead a response to somebody who has committed an act of oppression and violence against marginalised groups.

They are the people who will be reporting others to the state so they can be tortured and persecuted.

They have made their choice. It's not on you.
