if it's AC/DC I don't even bother designing it. at small scale it's always cheaper, easier, and safer to outsource a module.
if it's DC/DC I almost always integrate it, simply because it's not something I have to pay a lot of attention to these days and it's cheap enough that bulk order savings aren't significant. also means it's easy to tailor the design to my speciifc requirements.
