In a game of leads with all, each player starts with 13 cards and the remaining cards are placed face down in a draw pile. The top card from the draw pile is turned over and placed beside it to form a discard pile.
The first player draws a card from the draw pile and then plays any number of cards they like from their hand onto the discard pile, as long as the cards they play are one higher or one lower in rank than the previous card played. For example, if the top card on the discard pile is a 5, the player can play a 4 or a 6.
The next player then draws a card and plays any number of cards from their hand onto the discard pile, again following the same rule as before. This continues until one player has played all of their cards. That player is the winner.
Here's an example of how this game could play out:
Player 1 starts by drawing a card and then playing a 7 from their hand onto the discard pile (since the draw pile card was a 6).
Player 2 draws a card and then plays a 5 from their hand onto the discard pile (since it's one lower than the 7).
Player 3 draws a card and then plays an 8 from their hand onto the discard pile (since it's one higher than the 5).
And so on.
The goal is to be the first player to get rid of all your cards.
