I rarely post on Twitter anymore because:
it often feels like shouting into a void--with all the bots and spam, tweets get lost in the background noise.
the shadow banning and down-regulating of your reach prevent things from being seen, so why bother.
the paranoid environment--it feels like every other account is a fed, and you're kyc'd, so don't draw attention to yourself or leave a public record.
the negative/fatalistic environment.
I think it all boils down to the algorithm, censorship, and account KYC. On NOSTR, you have an equal chance of being heard, can't be censored, and can be truly anonymous with far less effort.
Whether or not it will stay this way with 500M users is another question. Only freedom-loving builders are going to use a new platform.
