I always wear my safety boots, but today was the first time I can recall them really saving me. Was working on demolishing the inside of the old mail car, took a step and something felt weird. Looked down and realized I had stepped on three long nails that had been sticking up, and now had a block of wood nailed to my boot. But the plate in the sole saved me from them going through my foot! #choochoo
