Looks like the eclipse is going to be on the other side of clouds for me. But, the last few nights I've noticed how incredibly bright the moon is, so I'm hoping I'll at least see the colour of the clouds change. That's pretty cool too, I guess
But my students who have a weather dependent extra credit assignment to take a picture of the eclipse are going to be sad. Welcome to ground-based optical astronomy!
