Ned Yeung on Nostr: My daughter got old-fashioned regular clip-on sunglasses for her prescription ...
My daughter got old-fashioned regular clip-on sunglasses for her prescription glasses! Reminds me of how Capitalist monopolies had completely changed my habits when I was younger, from somebody who wore clip-ons every day, to never wearing sunglasses for the rest of my life (I now wear a hat for the sun, instead). I used to get $10 clip-ons that fit on any glasses, then they just stopped selling them, in favor of $80 magnetic clips that only worked if you bought the accompanying frames for them.
