Tom Pearce on Nostr: Imagine reading a book and every time you turn the page you find the next one ...
Imagine reading a book and every time you turn the page you find the next one obscured by an advert or a note that you have to read before you can progress. Perhaps you would be permitted to read a few lines before the book demanded payment without which you couldn't go on to read more. When you went to put the book down another post-it would try to sell you something. That's my experience of trying to read most sites on the internet. It's infuriating to have pop-up after pop-up. I hate it.
