Reading through the JuliaHub newsletter and wanting to read the linked blog posts, but almost all of them are on Medium as 'member-only story' which means even the scribe.rip route doesn't work.

Is this a #julia thing? Every time I end up at Medium it's because I'm trying to read a Julia post. Is there some particular motivation to limit access?
