But 21 million will never reach .. Bitcoin’s block reward in 2050 will be 0.048828125 ..
Similarly everything has a hard cap .. there no new gold being made in earth cuz gold can be made only on Sun .. so pretty soon we will extract every single oz of gold ..
The question really is monetary value of the supply .. particularly if you are comparing disparate commodities ( which presumably can't be directly pegged by your own admission :-)
