I’m a car enthusiast AND the daughter of a mechanic, but my husband does the same. My Dad taught a college course in auto maintenance specifically offered to women in the 1960s — because he believed everyone needed to understand their vehicle. Crazy to me that misogyny is still so prevalent in the auto industry…but here we are.
