There’s no choice for both!
1. We care for a pet bird who is not shy about letting lose on whatever she is sitting on: hand, shoulder, arm, your soup (be careful).
2. I was once at a outdoor venue eating a funnel cake when a gull (herring type, probably, it was all a blur) approached me from my 6, swooped low, and snatched the remaining funnel cake from my hand as I was taking a bite. If that were not insulting enough, it let loose on my shoulder, presumably to shed weight so as to more rapidly gain altitude. Don’t ever tell me birds are too dumb to know exactly what they’re doing. 😆
