Funny story: I'm usually a subject matter expert in anything that I do. Most of the people I've ever interacted with want to know how something works by asking someone else, or by reading some form of literature, maybe attending a class; they'd really like to understand conceptually what's happening and why it's happening. Unless they don't care, then they just want to know precisely what they're required to do.
I just want to know what happens when I push the button.
