Parts of my company are looking to get rid of personell to save cost and be "future proof".
And so some HR employees are sending out emials to people they think they could be interested in a settlement.
Got one of those "Angebot zur Abfindung" mail today and asked my boss about it (they apparently have to greenlight this).
He didn't know anything about it, so we asked our department head, who wrote a very, very angry email to HR, about trying to lay off one of his employees.
Turns out: They got the wrong first name and didn't check the department.
