This is not democracy. Not even close. Politicians in the United States love to disparage Cuba. In Cuba they actually have a democracy with fair elections. Everyone has a voice. Every neighborhood has representation. Every person votes. There’s no money involved in the elections. Candidates make statements.
We had to search hard to find very few statements from the local candidates who ran on our ballot This is a travesty.
