I stopped using FB on the regular when, thanks to the algorithm, I missed the fact that one of my best friends’ mom had passed away.
This was before there were the different emojis available to react to someone’s post with anything other than a thumbs up.
So Jann was posting about her cancer treatments, and thanks to FB manipulating the algorithm, her posts weren’t getting seen by many people. Because no one was “liking” her posts, even if they saw them and cared about what she was going thru.
