There is a difference between a classic liberal and a liberal. In the US, it refers to the interpretation of the US Constitution, whether the government should be allowed to do things not specifically listed in it, or be interpreted to allow for changes.
Conservative favor businesses running things, only they call it "individual liberty" Liberals prefer government running things; only they refer to it a "oversight".
What's happening now is neither; the admin is simply ignoring the constitution and installing a "unitary executive" -- another word for dictator (to be generous, they think of it as a CEO) but they know the American people don't like the word "dictator".
What polisera is constantly banging on about are "progressives" and everyone who doesn't tow her line, except she just calls everyone shitlibs, and comes off as a somewhat ignorant asshat.
