Ireland was already sitting on £8bn budget surplus partly driven from its tax receipts as a tax haven for global corporations.... now it has been forced by the European Curt of Justice to accept another £13bn of back tax from Amazon.
This is the problem Keir Starmer so wishes he had.
The Q. is what will the Irish Govt. now do with this surplus?
