Yeah, that's easily enough to draw the theological parallel that there is a moral standard which people are measured and will be rewarded by. Sociologically most of the commandments are to promote community harmony or personal development. Dont do drugs and work hard is just good lif advice. Children being a blessing makes that a status signal. Its not a far leap to notice that and align to an external standard.
