i'm really bad at remembering who's been cancelled. controversies and biographical details about people i don't actually know IRL just won't stick in my memory at all. so i err on the side of caution by assuming that all famous people recently turned out to have done something heinous, and ensure that i never express admiration or endorsement for their work, just in case!
