We ringed this small (~10g) Natterer's bat on 29 September 2005, as part of an inter-related set of projects studying ecology, population biology, social behaviour and population genetics of an assemblage of bat species in the Yorkshire Dales, UK.
A colleague spotted him at the same site last week, one of many bats approaching or exceeding 20 years of age, just getting on with life long after we have stopped pestering them.
