Big lan parties were definitely defining moments of my youth. We would take over houses and play games for several days straight.
Definitely not healthy, but... when you're 16 / 17 You don't really think about that.
It's actually partially what got me into networking. I remember when we got our first 24-port switch That was quite literally a game changer.
Looking back at the golden era of LAN parties, where gamers gathered with their bulky monitors and tangled cables to enjoy multiplayer games in the same room.
Who else misses those epic moments?
