Q2. My son's ebike setup requires charging six different USB things (4 pedal lights, 1 helmet w/integrated lights, a handlebar mounted helmet turn signal controller), plus the ebike itself.
It's still a thousand times better than driving, but it would be nice to have fewer individual steps required to ride safely.
Is there any ebike industry movement toward a standard common power bus, eg 5V (USB) or 12V?
