I work at the same company with this guy who lives in the neighborhood next to mine, which is connected (street to street).
It is common to see residents walk both.
When I walk the neighborhood, I see him. I also see him at the nearest park. I pass him at work.
This has gone on for years. Has never once acknowledged my existence anywhere.
Until a couple of weeks ago, saw him at the park, he waved. I had to look around for another body - did he nean to wave at me?
He just passed me in the hallway at work.
I do not exist.
I'm okay with that, really, I'm just observing it's odd to me. I don't get it.
