I don't think anyone with the intellectual attainments of most of a radish has missed that this is what's going on right now; I do think that a lot of people are relying on fear of the unknown to convince everyone else that there's somehow a process way to fix it, that it's really still civilization, that you're not in a system that classifies you as feedstock or surplus to requirements.

It would be much better if we were, of course, but we're not.
