I get the idea that #Apple likely settled this lawsuit without trying to disprove that it sells our #Siri conversations to advertisers because quick settlements often make situations like this go away.

But I have to wonder if this was an error in judgement. Apple built so much of its reputation on privacy, and this “sweep it under the rug, nothing to see here” tactic now only makes me more curious and concerned.

I hope people more capable than me are too.
