after about 2 weeks of everyday posting and engaging with #nostr, my brain has reached peak social tiredness.
I feel that I have turned into a nostr content creator in some way and while I enjoyed many parts of that journey, and liked seeing the potential of nostr itself, I also realise how the effects of daily usage of any social platform can have a negative impact on mental health.
Maybe the buzz of receiving the #zaps has kicked (or tricked?) me into a weird loop I was trying to recreate with every subsequent post.
Was is that people came in a wave from X to nostr which led some to zap more during some time? I don't know. Either way, much of the energy I saw the first week of actively engaging here seems like it has now faded, possibly until the next wave of people arrive, I don't know.
I do love how I can just leave my raw thoughts running, and I still have many questions and much more to explore. But it's fair to say I'm going to be more distanced in the way I engage here and be more conscious of what specifically I want to come here for, to recharge my battery if you will.
It's great to see everything unfolding and how all of these building blocks are coming together. And I can also see just how niche everything still is. Many hashtags empty and unexplored, not much diversity of thought, many bots, issues and inconsistencies. etc. I would love to see that evolve.
Looking forward to seeing this community #growfurther
