Oh, there's another cool use of playlisting I've seen - shows, particularly anime, that have the same opening and the same credits over and over, sometimes put 1 chapter containing the opening, a chapter containing the credits, and then reuse those for the episodes, allowing them to fit one more episode on the disc.
