"content": "I thought RAW/DNG was a codec/container-format kind of thing?\n\nLike, RAW rules the representation, which is stuffed into DNG. So you could have a DNG and not be able to do much that's useful with it because you don't understand the producing camera's flavor of RAW.\n\nBut I am the opposite of an expert and I may well be wrong.",
