I noticed you're doing some customization. Do you intend to keep your instance online? If so, you might be interested in some experimental features:
- web_client_theme_dir configuration option lets you specify the directory whose contents will override mitra-web assets. For example, you can change background without rebuilding the frontend
- If you put assets/custom.css in that directory, the styles will be loaded by mitra-web. This file can be used to override specific CSS variables
