Nope, the drive tries to format the disk, but at the end it can't write the BAM. And I can't write any D64 image either. It seems too much of the magnetic material has already been eaten away.
Afterwards I do a couple of DIR commands with a cleaning disk inserted to clean the heads of any possible gunk that might have shed from the disk.
