Apparently, it's #WorldLionDay! A magnificent lion head carved from mammoth ivory some 40,000 years ago. Although small in size (H. 2.3 cm), it exhibits remarkable detail.
Found at the Vogelherd Cave, located in the Swabian Jura region.
