The centralized nature of Twitter, Reddit, Facebook etc is at the core a tech issue that these platforms are controlled by single entities.
We just don't know what the "natural" situation of decentralized media is yet, though I suppose it'll be more similar to small internet forums, message boards and 4chan.
Small creators are given a chance on Twitter for example, though not everyone is fit for it, and it often requires years of constant input and networking to get a following solely through Twitter and making niche online content - I don't think this is unjust. I DO think that a much more egalitarian spread of fame is inevitable once we remove the owners of platforms.
Lots of successful, full-time small creators have been popping off more and more online for years now, YouTube and Twitch, then Patreon, then Substack, and now hopefully with crypto it's straight to the moon
