There have always been small bands who want to "make it" with a new van, perfect gear, way too much merch, a manager, etc etc who are in any random town and are easy to ignore. But something in LA is connecting these bands to like fancy managers and promotion marketing people and they have slick videos and all kinds gimmicks and merch and it sucks. Spotify-core.
