On my current obsession of monitoring power in #HomeAssistant I discovered that my large sub-woofer with its “smart” standby mode was still drawing over 8 watts when it was idle.
A quick install of a smart plug and an automation that will switch it on/off based on the amp state and that’s going to save a lot long term given it’s only normally in use evenings and weekends.
